- The floor calculator runs in your browser. The numbers you type never leave your device.
- If you sign up, we keep your email and how you get paid. Nothing else.
- We send one email per new video. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.
- We never sell or rent your email, and we don't show ads on this site.
Who we are
Variable Money is a personal finance channel on YouTube and Instagram for people whose income changes every month. You can reach us at hello@variablemoney.com.
What we collect
- When you sign up: your email address and the answer you picked to "How do you get paid?". You give us these yourself.
- When you use the calculator: nothing personal. The deposits you type are used on the page to show your floor and are not sent to us.
- When you visit: anonymous counts, like how many people opened the page, which video sent them, or reached the last step of the calculator. These counts carry no name, email or amount.
Why we use it
To send you the worksheet you asked for and one email each time a new video comes out. Knowing how you get paid lets us send examples that look like your month. The anonymous counts tell us which parts of the site help and which don't.
We only email you because you asked us to. You can take that back at any time.
Who helps us
- Kit (kit.com) stores the email list and sends the emails.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and counts page visits without cookies.
They handle the data only to provide that service to us. They may store it in the United States.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Links to YouTube and Instagram take you to those sites, where their own privacy rules apply. If you press play on a video here, it loads from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode; nothing from YouTube loads until you press play.
How long we keep it
We keep your email while you are subscribed. When you unsubscribe, you stop getting emails right away. If you also want your email deleted, write to us and we will remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we have about you, fix it, delete it, or withdraw your consent. Write to hello@variablemoney.com from the address you signed up with. We answer within 15 business days.
Children
This site is for adults. We don't knowingly collect emails from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this page in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell subscribers in the next email.
